The Book Ecosystems program
strengthens early childhood literacy by creating community-powered access to books where children already learn, play, and gather. We install Little Free Libraries at preschools, elementary schools, and public libraries or trusted community hubs, creating book ecosystems that ensure families have ongoing access to culturally relevant, high-interest books. Through strong partnerships with schools, libraries, and local organizations, our program helps families build home libraries, supports reading from birth through third grade, and inspires a lifelong love of reading.

UNBROKEN a documentary project
captures ordinary Ukrainians transformed into defenders of democracy through unprecedented frontline access. Award-winning filmmaker Volodymyr "Vova" Sydko enlisted when Russia invaded and now serves as both combatant and storyteller, documenting his unit in real-time from the Kharkiv region. Focusing on English-speaking soldiers eliminates subtitle barriers while preserving authentic Ukrainian voices. We compensate soldiers fairly, capture oral histories as they happen, and reveal the universal experience of citizens becoming warriors—positioning Ukraine's resistance within the global fight against authoritarianism.
