Book Ecosystems

OUR VISION

We envision communities where every child grows up surrounded by books and supported by a strong, vibrant library. By extending the library’s reach into everyday community spaces, book ecosystems create multiple, reliable touch-points where families naturally encounter books. This approach aims to:

  • Improve early literacy outcomes

  • Strengthen family engagement

  • Cultivate lifelong readers

  • Build sustainable, locally driven literacy infrastructure

OUR GOAL

Ensure each participating child in target communities receives 100 age-appropriate books by 3rd grade to build a strong home library foundation.

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT

To advance this proven model, we need support to fund the team that makes this work possible.

The success of our federally funded Reading Nation Waterfall project shows what book ecosystems can achieve. Your support helps us continue this vital work for the children who need it most.

New Media Learning securely collects and administers funds for the Book Ecosystems Program. All donor-designated gifts are used solely to advance global book ecosystem work.
