UNBROKEN delivers unfiltered access to the full-scale invasion of Ukraine through an award-winning filmmaker who lives it, fights it, and films it from the trenches. With a focus on English-speaking soldiers and volunteers, we present a story that's immediately accessible to American audiences — no language barriers, no cultural distance, just raw human truth from the epicenter of democracy's fight for survival. When ordinary people become warriors, they don't just fight for territory — they fight for democracy itself. Through the lens of filmmaker-soldier Volodymyr Sydko, we witness impossible transformations: New Yorkers returning home to command operations, ballerinas becoming snipers, vets becoming combat medics. From battlefront to home front, this is history being written in real time by the people living it, captured by someone who shares their trenches, their fears, and their unbreakable will to survive
